With Favro's built in Card editor you are able to manage your projects, collaborate and create content all in the same place. Whether you are taking meeting notes, creating beautiful designs, writing client briefs or blog posts, you can do this and much more in our document style editor.

Top bar

In the top menu of a card you will find the number of the card, an option to toggle a card completed or not. On the left you will find card history, and the icons to follow, archive, expand or close a card. The (...) menu will give you more options relating to that card.

Add measurable attributes like due dates and tags

Use the details section on cards to add more information about what you're working on. You can add members, tags, estimation and dates, or create a custom field to calculate costs, link out, add contact details, and much more.

There are several pre-made fields to choose from and you can expand this further by creating shared fields. You can also customize your card editor experience by setting what fields should always show on new cards you create.

Create beautiful documents

Unlike most project management tools out there, Favro doesn't just give you an item to fill out with data. In Favro a card can be its own document with the formatting you expect from the best text editors on the market.

You of course have common formatting options like bold and italics but you can also create headings, insert horizontal rules, code blocks, links, you name it.

Every kind of list you can think of

Your work isn't only beautiful, it is well-organized and actionable with our many different types of lists. Here's a list of the lists you can list:

  • Bullet lists

  • Numbered lists

  • Checklists (read more about working with granularity here)

  • Tables (that's right, you can add tables to your card)

Document history

When any change happens in the card description you can always revert to the previous version and continue working from there with the help of Document history.

Inside the menu, you can choose by the date when the change happened, and restore back to the previous version.

Collaborate in real-time with indicators and threads

With all of this power, it's a good thing that the might is shared. In Favro's card editor, you can write together at the same time. This is made super easy with our indicator system. You can see in real-time when a team member is working on a card and you also see who authored what in the right pane of the document.

Now that you have a grasp of how to create, let's take a look at how to track it all in flow based boards.
