When you setup your Jira integration it is important to consider who should be in charge of the integration and its editing rights.

Situation:

The Favro - Jira integration is an easy way to have a 2-way sync and have teams be aware of the changes happening on both systems. In some cases, however, you might want to limit the ability to set up or modify connections between Favro and Jira to only Favro administrators.

Solution:

Limit the creation/editing of connections to Jira and/or sending cards to Jira in your organization to administrators only.

Limit the creation/editing of connections to Jira:

Go to Administration, open the Apps and Integrations option.

Find the Jira integration tab, and check Only admins can setup Jira board connections.

Now in the whole organization, only the administrators are able to setup and manage Jira connections.

Limit Send card to Jira:

Go to Administration, open the Apps and Integrations option.

Find the Jira integration tab, and check Only admins can Send card to Jira.

Now in the whole organization, only the administrators are able to setup the Send card to Jira feature.

Note:

The setup also affects automation, members no longer can create Send card to Jira automation, but can use the automation as it was set by the administrator to send cards to Jira.
