Move card to another board in a sales pipeline

The situation and why it takes time:

In a sales pipeline, you will have prospects moving through your board's workflow. In this example, a card will move from Qualified Sales Lead, to Contacted Lead, to Follow up with lead, to Done Deal.

After a card has gone through this pipeline, the team wants the card to move from 'Done Deal' in the 'Sales Work Board' to 'Converted to Paying' in the 'Customer Work Board'.

Currently manually moving multiple cards a day from one board to another is time consuming for the team.

Wanted actions and how it saves time:

When the card is manually moved by a team member from Qualified Sales Lead, Contacted Lead, or Follow Up with Lead to Done Deal, the team would like the cards to automatically be removed from the 'Sales Work Board', and added to the Converted To Paying column in 'Customer Work Board'.

The automation saves the team time by not needing to move many cards from one board to another, ensuring that the flow continues regardless of team members' availability and schedules.

Solution:

The automations solution needed is:

When this happens:

  1. When a card changes status from Qualified Sales Lead, Contacted Lead or Follow Up with Lead to Done Deal

Do this:

1. Move the card from 'Done Deal' in the 'Sales Work Board' to 'Converted to Paying' in the 'Customer Work Board'.

Move cards to backlog after 30+ days in selected

Situation and why it takes time:

When your team has moved a card from the backlog to the work board, but it has been sitting in the 'selected' column for too long, the card is often left sitting in selected, causing bottlenecks and blockages in your workflow.

Wanted actions and how it saves time:

The team wants to automatically move cards that have been sitting in the 'selected' column for more than 30 days back to the status 'to do' in 'Backlog'.

This allows the team to focus on the tasks they have prioritized, removing bottlenecks and freeing up the team's workflow.

Solution:

The automations solution the team can use is:

When this happens:

  1. After 30 days in status 'Selected'

Do this:

  1. Move card to the 'Backlog' board, in status 'To do'.

Automatically assign members when new contacts come in

Situation and why it takes time:

In a sales team, new leads will be created in the work boards multiple times a day. Members of the team will not know that these cards have been created until they check the board, or if they are assigned to or mentioned on the card.

This means cards and sales leads will be seen later than they could be, and slows down team progress.

Wanted actions and how it saves time:

The team wants members to automatically be sent a notification when a new card is created in the board.

This would immediately notify the team when a new prospect is available to contact, speeding up the sales process.

Solution:

The automations solution the team can use is:

When this happens:

  1. When a card is assigned to 'New Sales Leads' status

Do this:

  1. Send a notification to Natalya with the message 'New Sales Lead!'
