Verify your domain

Use this article to verify an email domain in Favro.

Steps

  1. Open Administration.

  2. Select Authentication methods.

  3. In SAML authentication, click Configure.

  4. Enter your domain name.

  5. Click Add domain.

  6. Open the new domain configuration page.

  7. In Domain verification, copy the TXT record name.

  8. Copy the TXT record value.

  9. Add that TXT record to your DNS settings.

  10. Wait for your DNS update to finish.

  11. In Favro, click Verify now.

  12. Check that the domain shows Verified.

Notes

  • Favro checks the record again over time, so do not remove it after verification.

  • DNS updates can take time to appear.

Troubleshooting

  • If the domain still shows Not verified, wait a little longer and click Verify now again.

  • If the domain shows Verification failed, check that the TXT record name and value match exactly.
