How to change the email of your Favro account

How to Change Your Email Address in Favro

Currently, Favro does not allow a direct change to the primary email associated with your user account for security reasons. However, there are several options you can use to switch your Favro access to a new email address. Here are the steps you need to follow:

1. Invite the New Email Address as a User
To associate a new email with your Favro account, start by inviting the new email address to your organization as a new user by going to Administration > Invites. If you do not have the option to invite, ask an administrator of the organization to do it for you.

2. Assign Permissions & Cards
Make sure the new user account has the same permissions or role as your current account. Proceed with assigning all cards and boards connected to your old user account to the new user account.

There are multiple ways to do this:

  • Go to the My cards section and assign cards from there.

  • Create a Dashboard view and select all your collections as sources, then filter out by member to see all cards assigned to you.

3. Remove the Old Email
Once you have confirmed that you can access Favro with the new email and that all you have access to all your cards and boards, an administrator can remove the original email from your organization.

Following these steps will help you effectively transition to a new email address while retaining access to all your Favro data.
